Lessons that Youths and students should learn from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's life.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, iron man of India, Bismarck of India and first Deputy Prime Minister and home minister of India. Sardar Patel was the man behind the unification of India thus "Statue of Unity", the world's tallest statue is built in his honor. Also "National Unity Day" is celebrated in India on 31 October to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.  His life and his struggle for freedom are the sources of motivation for the whole of India. Sardar Patel's exceptional decision making power, extraordinary courage, outstanding leadership, and incredible self-esteem has inspired a lot of young people. So here are a few lessons that youths and students can learn from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's life.

Leadership

After independence, Sardar Patel took charge of the integration of the princely states into India. And with his incredible leadership, except for Jammu and Kashmir, Junagadh, and Hyderabad he integrated all other states in India. However later on he also managed to integrate these three states. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel has exhibited incredible leadership not only during the freedom struggle of India but also in the post-independence era. And our country needs many more leaders like Vallabhbhai Patel to make our India free from corruption, unemployment, illiteracy, and poverty. And the youth of India need to take inspiration from the amazing leadership ability of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.


Courage

It takes courage to continue education at the age of 36, to resume court hearing after getting news of wife's demise, and to integrate 564 princely Indian states. And Sardar Patel has done all this in 75-years of his life. In 1909 when Sardar Patel's wife Jhaverba died he was cross-examining a witness in court and when Vallabhbhai Patel came to knew about her demise he continued his cross-examination and won the case, he broke this news to others only after the court proceedings ended. 

At the age of 36, Sardar Patel traveled to England and got enrolled at the Middle Temple Inn in London and managed to complete a 36-month course in just 30 months. These incidents showed how courageously Sardar Patel lived his life. His extraordinary courage is a source of inspiration for the youth. 

Youngsters want to succeed in their lives as soon as possible, they want to achieve all money and fame but they don't want to wait. All these people must know that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had passed class 10th examination at the age of 22 and he is the same man who has played a leading role in the integration of India.

Fight For Freedom

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had fought for the freedom of India to all his strength. His struggle for India's independence has attained a unique place in the history of our nation. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel encouraged every individual to fight for their rights. Every youngster must take care of the fact that no one should deprive them of their rights, the right to dream, the right to fly, the right to make mistakes, and the right to succeed.
