Lessons that Youths and students should learn from Mahatma Gandhi's life.

Mahatma Gandhi, the great Indian, the great freedom fighter, and the man of great values. He is the father of our nation and his life is full of lessons for all the people. He was a strict follower of non- violence, and truth. Mahatma Gandhi believes that Truth is the very substance of the soul and non- violence is the Supreme Dharma. His entire life is a source of inspiration for all the youths and students. So here are the few lessons that everyone can learn from Mahatma Gandhi's life.

Simplicity

Gandhi Ji was an epitome of simplicity. As such his full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi but he is often referred to as Mahatma Gandhi. That's because of his simplicity towards life and people. In today's world, we are all around fakeness and fanciness. In social media, we are posting fake smiles and we are adopting fancy lifestyles to get fit in the box of classiness. Mahatma Gandhi's simple food habits and clothing style is evident that he believed in living with simplicity.

"Sada Jivan Uchch Vichar" this sentence entirely describe the Mahatma Gandhi's life. And this is also something that everybody needs to learn from Gandhi Ji's life.

Non- Violence

"Permanent good can never be the outcome of untruth and violence." - Mahatma Gandhi

Mahatma Gandhi obeyed and emphasized the idea of nonviolence throughout his life with all his heart and soul. This notion of nonviolence was deeply embedded inside Mahatma Gandhi. He believed that if the struggle against injustice, then the physical force was not necessary to fight the oppressor. And this could be done by appealing to the conscience of the oppressor. The basic theory that he followed during all his battles and struggles is nonviolence. After the Jallianwalla Bagh incident, Gandhi Ji called off the satyagraha against Rowlatt Act and after the violent chauri Chaura incident, he even halts the noncooperation movement. So it's very clear that whenever Gandhiji felt that people are moving towards violence, he stopped them there because nonviolence and Ahimsa was the first religion of his life.

Youths are always full of energy and power and sometimes this energy takes a violent form when they realize that things are not going the way they want. So definitely youths can learn the lesson of non-violence from the priest of non-violence Mahatma Gandhi.

"Whenever you are confronted with an opponent, conquer him with love." - Mahatma Gandhi

Fight for rights

Mahatma Gandhi was a hardcore practitioner of non- violence but he is also one who fights for the rights of crores of Indian. Not only in India but in South Africa also he successfully fought the racist regime. Whenever Mahatma Gandhi felt that Britishers are depriving Indians of their rights he opposed. Salt March and the civil disobedience Movement is the perfect instance that reveals that Gandhi never obeyed any law that seems to curse the rights of common people. Mahatma Gandhi Ji taught all of us that everyone should fight for their freedom and independence.

"Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes."

Truth is only the true path

In his autobiography "The Story of My Experiments with Truth" Mahatma Gandhi revealed how he experimented with truths at every stage of his life. The path of truth is very hard to follow but Mahatma Gandhi followed this path throughout his life and suggested people do the same.

"There should be truth in thought, truth in speech, and truth in action."
