Indian Village Life
We all have heard this enough time that if we did good deeds in our life then after a death we will go to heaven but what if we want to get the experience of heaven while we are alive. So go and live in Indian villages for a few days because they are no less than heaven in this 21st century of climate change and technology addiction. Roots of Indian villages are still substantial simplicity, not the fake fanciness. Greenery all around, fresh air to inhale, clear sky to look at and pleasant peace to sit that's what village life is all about. So if you are tired of the chaos of the city and want to experience real happiness then try to live in the village for a few days.
THE LIVELIHOOD OF VILLAGE PEOPLE
70 percent of Indian rural households depend mainly on agriculture for their livelihood. Most of them are a small farmer and others are laborers who work for big farmers. There are people in villages who worked as blacksmiths, carpenters, and potters to earn for their families. Few people in the village also go to the city to get employment. Women of villages also have an equal contribution as a man in growing and nourishing the families. Women works in both home and farms to add to the family income. The houses in the village have domesticated animals like cows and Buffalo for milk. Some villagers also have hens and goats in their houses. Mostly in Indian villages children help their parents to complete different household tasks. Some villagers also sell vegetables grown in their small farms and backyards to earn some extra money.
LIFESTYLE OF INDIAN VILLAGERS
During these days the lifestyle of the village people are changed to a great extent but there are few things which are still the same. In most parts of rural India, the houses are made up of stones, mud, bamboo, etc but there are also some rich people in villages who build their houses in modern style. Most of the village people eat what they sow on their farms and grow in backyards. Mainly for the water, they are dependent on public wells, hand pumps, canals, and rivers.
Even today in India many villages lack basic facilities of clean water, electricity, indoor toilet, and transportation but every village has a temple and chaupal where people sit and chill during the evening time. Even after not having a fancy lifestyle these people live their life with satisfaction and happiness.
FESTIVAL CELEBRATION IN INDIAN VILLAGES
I really believed that Indian culture and rituals are predominantly preserved by the villagers or small-town people. They celebrate each and every festival with super joy and excitement. An Indian village is like a big joint family where everyone is connected to each other by heart and soul. They share happiness, sorrow, fun, and pleasure with one another. During the festival, they don't just forward what's up message but rather go to each other's place and wish them with sweets and smile.
