Few things behind which Indian youth are crazy

BOLLYWOOD

Well, Bollywood is established long back in the 1930s but still, the craze for it is constantly increasing in India. Old Bollywood movies like 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' and 'Sholay' still have a great place in everyone's hearts and movies like '3 idiots' and 'chhichhore' have won the hearts of many. There are also movies like 'OMG' and 'PK' which has an extraordinary impact on many Indians minds. The love of Indian people is not only limited to Bollywood films but more than that they love Bollywood stars.

Every Sunday a crowd of thousands of people gathers in front of superstar Amitabh Bachchan house (JALSA) for his Sunday darshan. Thousands of people visit Shahrukh khan's  'Mannat' every year. Bollywood is not just a source of entertainment for people it's the reflection of Indian society and Indian culture.

CRICKET


When the captain cool(MS Dhoni) of Indian Cricket team is playing a semi-final match of world cup 2019 the heartbeat of every Indian is too fast and when he gets run out hopes of crores of Indians shattered. This is not just about that particular match but for every single match, Indian people have the same excitement and emotional attachment. India is a country where you can find gully cricket in every dam colony and village and every gully cricketer have a dream to play for a country one day.  Basically, Indians are mad about cricket. Cricket is not just a game for Indians but it's a heartbeat of thousands of hearts.

GOLD

India is a fourth-largest gold importer in the world and Indian households estimated to have accumulated 25,000 tonnes of gold. These statistics show how crazy is Indian people for gold. Actually gold is a part of Indian culture and rituals. In Indian wedding culture bridegroom family is supposed to bring gold jewelry during the marriage for their daughter in law. Also gold is an essential part of many Indian women's adornments.

ENGINEERING


India has a total of 6,214 Engineering and Technology Institutions and every year on an average 1.5 million students get their degree in engineering in India. The number of engineers that India produced each year is more than the total population of many countries around the world. Competition to get admission in top engineering colleges like Indian Institute of Technology is very tough and the selection ratio is only 0.92 percentage. The middle-class section of Indian is quite crazy about engineering degrees.
