The family which has blessings of grandparents, bonding of brothers, the hoot of kids, fights of siblings, and a lot of love is a joint family. India believes in the ideology of "vasudhaiva kutumbakam" and we Indians think of the whole world as our family. Hence the idea of a joint family forms the basic foundation of this ideology. Joint families are irreplaceable parts of Indian societies and Indian culture. A joint family is a place where everyone lives sharing their happiness and sorrow. A joint family is just not about living together in a big house it's more about eating, chatting, and laughing together. From sharing a television to traveling in a car with a lot of people all these crazy experience you will get if you are a part of a joint family. Living in a joint family is like having all seven colors of the rainbow in life.

The very big advantage of being a part of a joint family is that any member of a family can never be stuck in any problem alone, If ever anyone is in trouble, then every one of the family will be there to support and help. If you live in a joint family then forget about using sentences like 'I am getting bored" or "what can I do for timepass" because one can never get while living in a joint family with a lot of different people. Every member of a family has different mindsets, opinions, and ideas and it becomes very interesting when these different people live under the same roof. If a person is a part of a joint family then he/she has a great benefit of getting the advice and guidance of numerous people.

Joint families are that part of Indian societies that are washing out with modern culture. So in order to conserve Indian culture we need to preserve old family values and systems of joint families.
