The Real Success

What I have learned so far in my life by listening and observing the most successful persons around the world is that success has unique definitions for all unique personalities. But the only thing that is common in their different definitions is that success is much more than just money and fame.  Let's take it from the starting of our lives. when we were small kids having parents' attention and getting new toys seems like all success of the world. And when we grew up little buying a good bicycle, maintaining good grades in class is a success. After that getting good marks on boards, admission in acknowledged college thereafter placement with the good package or should I say financial stability is a success.  This trajectory of success is for common people, but we need to take a pause and think about how many successful people around the follow this trajectory of success. Let's start from the top when we type "most successful person in the world" on Google the name that is popped out is of 'Bill Gates'. Let's track the Bill Gates's success trajectory. Bill Gates enrolled at Harvard University in 1973 to pursue a career in law. But during this phase of his college, he spends more of his time in computer labs than in classes. And then finally in 1975 Gates decided to drop out of college to follow his passion and profession on Microsoft. When Bill Gates decided to drop out of college he simultaneously breaks the norms of success that were set by the people or society around us.
Now let me take you to the journey of Steve Paul Jobs co-founder of Apple Computer. iPod and iPhone are such Apple products that lead to the evolution of modern technology. When after high school Steve jobs got enrolled in the college that he drop out from there just after 6 months. When Steve Jobs was just 21 he started working on an Apple computer in a family garage.
Just like these two stories, everyone who is at the peak of success today they have their own Unique success trajectory. Success can never have a single definition it's always different for different people and situations. So next time whenever someone tries to fit you in their definition of success don't ever follow them blindly but rather create your unique definition of success.
