Early Life, Family And Education
Prajakta Koli was born to Archana Koli and Manoj Koli on 23 June 1993 in Mumbai. Prajakta was grown up in Thane, Mumbai with the dream of becoming a radio Jockey. She has completed her schooling from Vasant Vihar high school. In one of her interviews, she revealed that she decided to be a radio jockey in her 6th standard. So she took up the path accordingly and completed her Bachelors in Mass Media from "V.G. vaze college of arts, science, and commerce" in Mumbai, Maharashtra. And after that, she did an internship at Fever 104 FM station for about a year. And this one-year internship has changed her in several ways. While sharing one of the incidents during this internship she said that interns were not allowed to sit at the same table as employees and eat lunch. And this phase of her life shaped Prajakta as an individual. She ended up from absolutely admiring radio to absolutely abhorring radio. And here she knows that there is something wrong with this job and this is not what she meant or want to be in her life.
Prajakta's YouTube Journey
Prajakta had interviewed many celebrities during her internship and one of them is Hrithik Rosan. Despite restricted by her boss for taking a selfie with actor, Prajakta shoots a short comedy video with Hrithik Rosan and uploaded it in her social media account. And here she attracted the attention of Sudeep from one digital entertainment. He saw Prajakta's extreme energy and recommend her to try on YouTube. He also offers Prajakta that if she wants to start her YouTube channel then she could meet him. At first, Prajakta was not very optimistic or excited about the idea because she knows absolutely nothing about digital space. But at the same time, she wants to escape from a job on the radio because things were not going well. So she finally gives a thought to Sudeep's idea and decided to meet him. And this is the outset of her outstanding career. Now the concern is with which type of content she should start her YouTube channel. She has no idea or interest in fashion, makeup, or lifestyle kind of video. The only thing that she knows, is that she is the funniest among her friends and could do something in the comedy genre only.
So to get out of hate for her radio job and to test her fate in the digital world Prajakta Koli uploaded her first YouTube video titled "Types of the singles on Valentine" in February 2015 which gets 1000 views within a minute after uploaded. For almost a month she continued her radio job along with YouTube channel. In starting three months of her YouTube journey things were normal. It was only in June 2015, When Prajakta was at her Nani's home in Delhi and was craving for an idea for her next Thursday YouTube video and got stuck by the thought that there are few hilarious words that Delhi people used which is not generally used in Mumbai. So she created a video titled "10 hilarious words Delhi people used".For the first two weeks, the response was good for the video but suddenly after that video went viral and she gets her 30,000 new subscribers by August from just 2,000 in June.

Sharing the initial few incidents, that keep Prajakta going in her youtube journey, she said in the early days she used to go star bugs very close to her place to write content and one day one of her viewers came to greet her and said: "hey you are Prajakta right, I watched your videos and you are doing a great job". It just gives wings to Prajakta's dream. For Prajakta it's like completing a loop, she uploaded videos for viewers and they are coming to give her feedback. Prajakta is loving this attention. So after that many times when she goes to the mall or any public place she updates her viewers about it and urges them to come and say hey to her. This enhances the depth of her connection with her viewers. For Prajakta her viewers are never just fans rather she called them "DumDums". But her journey was never straightforward, there are enough hurdles, that make her stronger in every way.

There was a phase in Prajakta life when she faced content block, she is not able to discover what her viewers want to see and even she had thought of quitting her Youtube channel. At that stage of her life, she used to spend hours in her room reading books or watching movies. During that time, it took her almost a year to increase her subscribers from 100k to 200k. But after that, there is no looking back for Prajakta Koli now she is a leading YouTube comedian or entertainer with 5.1 Million subscribers in her YouTube channel.
Awards And Achievements
In 2020 Prajakta released a short film, "Khayali Pulao" taking the issue of women empowerment in Haryana.
SHAMELESS(# pledgeToBeMe) and NO OFFENSE(# CreatorsForChange) are Prajakta's original YouTube songs that raise awareness about severe social issues, especially among youths.
Prajakta grabbed " The Most stylish Digital Icon" award at Lokmat Awards 2019.

Life Lesson
From childhood, Prajakta had been grown having fixed plans for her life, but life has better plans for her. And that's what she learned from her life that " it's okay to not have a plan" because in such a case there is always room for surprise. One theory that Prajakta followed is that "Always believe in process" because everything happens for a reason.
